Charter and Race in Paradise
With interest from sailors in Austral-Asia and beyond growing, organisers have worked closely with charter operators to highlight a selection of charter yachts available for the regatta this year.
Commenting on the drive to offer charter opportunities, Mr. William Gasson, Co-Chairman, Top of the Gulf Regatta Organising Committee, said “There are many sailors around the region and especially in Australia that are interested to race at the regatta if suitable yachts are available for charter. Recognising this, we have developed a dedicated charter section on the regatta website and are working with charter operators to market a selection of boats from dinghies upto IRC class and multihulls.”
Boats currently available include Baby Tonga (Beneteau First 53), Resolution of Whitby (Beneteau 523 Oceanis), Fujin (Beneteau First 44.7), PH Plus+ (Elliot 46), Australian Maid (Cassidy 55) and Endeavour of Whitby (Beneteau 34.7), as well as one-design Farr 25 Platus, a number of multihulls, and optimists.
